First Baptist Weekday Education Center is a non-profit preschool that has been in business for over 30 years! Our purpose and desire is to help each child realize that he or she is an important part of God's creation. We offer a half-day preschool program that focuses on providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our curriculum is designed to promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development. We believe that children learn best through play,

exploration, and hands-on experiences, and our teachers are trained to facilitate this type of learning.

Together, our staff of 19 has a total of 312 years of teaching. We are proud that we have very little turnover and have a lead teacher and an assistant in each room. We have a low adult to child ratios in all our classes. Our weekday director and assistant director are also involved with the day to day happening within the classrooms.
